HUD Cancellation Sage Acquisitions

This was a HUD foreclosure, that I was supposed to close on 4/30/20. My lender pulled out at the last minute, saying due to coronavirus he couldn't get me lending, but pre-approved me on $50,000. I was instructed by my real estate company to put up a good faith check of $500 to HUD, which HUD approved. I had to give them 3 different checks. 1 for $250.00 to Real Estate company (Century 21), then she gave that back.

2 for $250.00 made out to Blevins Law (Title Company) which she told me wasn't good enough which was returned. 3 a Cashier's check from my bank for $500. made payable to Title Company(Blevins Law) in Berea, KY. My lender said he wouldn't loan me the money just prior to closing. Now the Title company will not release my funds, saying that they spent all this money to do a title search. Called it Due Dilligence. I provided them a decline letter from the Lender. All the title search and things should have been in the financing, which was not approved.

Now Blevins Law will not release my funds, even though HUD had to remove the property from the Market and also did approve the earnest money disposition form from SAGE Properties. I can't understand how they can get away with this. THIS IS SO WRONG. Not only did I not get the house that I loved, but got shafted in every direction. When I called and requested my money, all she kept saying is how she has 3 kids to take care of and due to Coronavirus, she is operating from home and cannot send me a check for my $500 back. This is so wrong.

I feel I was scammed out of my money due to the fact, my real estate lady was pulling all the strings, said something to the Lender and made him mad, so he wont even speak with me and now the Title Company keeping my hard earned money, which by law is not theirs to keep.

You should file a complaint against the real estate agent and lender but you might get accused of cyber revenge or cyber harassment because bad businesses don't like being exposed

You might need to exposed the bad real estate agent and lender. But by doing so you will get accused of cyber harassment or revenge posting. It doesn't make a lot of since since this title of the site don't let them get away with it let the truth be know. But you get harassed & made to  feel sorry you ever made the complaint. The bad businesses have money to pay ripoff report to get the report censored.

It's always a win win for bad businesses. Us consumers don't have any rights to fight back against bad businesses. Who has the money to pay to hide their bad business practices. Money takes and this site has given into the bad businesses to censor their complaint to accuse the customer of false reports or cyber harassment or making the report out of revenge.
