I purchased what was represented as a "NEW - OPEN BOX" laptop from BLINQ.com on November 28, 2016, and received it by mail on December 2, 2016. Upon opening the box, I could tell that the computer wasn't new. I was shocked. So I started doing a little research on this company, and apparently this is what they do for a living: bait and switch. As seen from complaints listed here: https://www.bbb.org/washington-dc-eastern-pa/business-reviews/barter-and-trade-exchanges/espot-in-lanham-md-125731683 http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/blinqcom-false-advertising-c613070.html http://www.revdex.com/reviews/blinqcom/617636 https://www.scambook.com/company/view/53849/Blinqcom I paid $244.79 for a used computer that was advertised as new. I've included screenshots of the company ADMITTING this, and attempting to offer me a bogus remedy of $30; then $60, but no higher. However, I am firm in my stance, and will accept no less than a partial refund of $100. If I had the time, I would return the entire computer and just purchase elsewhere; but it is a gift for someone, and I don't have that luxury. I believe $100 is a more than fair resolution for a situation in which a company actively engages in bait & switch and other fraudulent practices, and isn't sorry, nor do they intend on stopping. Highly unethical and unfair! This company should be banned from the internet for what they are doing!
