My account was compromised by a hacker & all of my characters were transferred to another server. They must of had my email also because I did not know it happened.

I must have clicked a phishing link and got key logged. Either way blizzard did not help.

They did restore the account for me which took one week. This involved multiple emails with responses after 24 hours and spending over 45 minutes in their hold queue with multiple phone calls.

Once the account was restored I noticed all of my characters were on an Australian server, I live in texas. They also had lots of gold on them.. so it seemed to me they were using my guys for gold farming or something.

Well I asked for the characters to be restored. After another week of trying to get them back to the original server.. I got an email about my account being banned for Sale of Virtual Goods.

The only thing I can think of is the hackers were farming gold and selling it off my account.

The GM's refused to give any details on their "proof" and eventually stopped responding to emails asking for help or explanation.

I mean come on... You really think I moved to Australia and starting farming gold in Australia, selling it online and then moved back to texas to fix it all?

Look at the IP addresses that were logging in... use your common sense.

Either way I lost a battle.net account that had two fully upgraded WOW accounts and about 6 level 80 characters all with great gear.

so Blizzard caused your account to be hacked?  No.  YOU were sloppy enough in your computer activities to allow someone else to get the information necessary to make changes to your account.  Blizzard goes out of their way to try and help you people who can't practice basic computer security.  I wouldn't be surprised if the gold selling company got your account info basically from you previously hiring them to provide gold or power leveling!  Cheaters always get what is coming to them.....enjoy leveling your new account.....
