I rented three videos from a Block Buster grocery store video box.
The movies I glanced at stated they were $1.00 each.
I chose my movies and swiped my debit card.
I took the movies home and watched them. One of the DVDs was beat to hell and had to be fast forwarded several times to watch it.
The following day I drove 9 miles to return the movies to the box on time.
I found a Block Buster box with a sign that stated "out of service"
I went to the customer service desk and asked if they had any advice. The Clerk rolled her eyes and said "yup, its always down, and Customers have to keep running back during the day to return them"  she then stated that Management is considering just getting rid of the box all together its becoming a nuisance.
I took the movies back home and contacted Block Buster via email. I reported my problem and gave them all my information.
The only other Block Buster Box is 40 miles away. I am not driving that far to return these movies.
I returned the movies the following day.
Block Buster never responded to my complaint. I sent a second email repeating the same thing. They never responded again.
Today Block Buster charged my account a total of $18.00 dollars.
The movies were not a $1.00 like you are led to believe. They are actually $2.99 for new releases.
I was charged $9.00 for the "late fee"
Do not rent from them. They are a rip off.
Its not worth the money. And they could care less about Customers.

Block Buster sent me a email for "3 free rentals" and a alternative way to return movies if this happens again.

I really feel I shouldn't have to be forced into a second purchase, and should have been refunded the money, not 3 rentals I had to pay for.
