I just wanted express my feelings for the disgust I have for blockbuster Online and hope you could look into it because it feels like I am being ripped off as a 2-year loyal customer and this is has not been resolved after almost a few days of emails back and forth.

I've been a loyal customer to blockbuster online for 2 years and recently went to Taiwan for a vacation, so I contacted Blockbuster online to hopefully credit me for the month I didn't use out of courtesy, but instead they emailed me and said they would give me 2 weeks free and would change my plan from $14.99 a month to the new membership rate after the 2 free weeks to $17.99.

I've been getting emails from them for the past year to try to persuade me to change my plan to the new membership plan, but never gave in. Now that I asked for a month out of courtesy, they said because my plan has been altered that they would change my plan to $17.99, the new membership rate. I truly honestly feel that as a loyal consumer of blockbuster online for 2 years received 2 weeks free in exchange for being screwed for a higher plan.

I replied to their email with disgust from their reply with the way they handled their business "Please be advised that if you completed sign-up prior to March 1, 2005, and have maintained your original plan in good standing, you will not be affected by this price change. If you meet this criteria and either cancel or alter your BLOCKBUSTER Online plan, you will be subject to the new pricing terms and conditions."

It just seemed more like they wanted to just find any chance to screw me instead of be courteous. I did sign up with them prior to March 1, 2005 and asked for a month credit out of courtesy, but instead they tried to change my plan for 2 weeks free. After I replied out of disgust they replied, "I appreciate you for notifying us your concern regarding your subscription. Aaron, I am very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. I have verified that your "2 Weeks FREE 3 at a time, Unlimited rents" will take effect on March 4.

Please know that we could try to bring back your plan rate to $14.99 plus taxes, but please know that the two free monthly e-coupons could no longer be redeemable for game rentals in store. I sincerely apologize for this. Please let me know if you would like me to adjust your account."

I did feel better when I thought I was able to get my plan back after all the hassle, but it was still not the exact plan where I get to rent movies and games. Then after I confirmed with them that I wanted my plan as $14.99 the way it was they changed it to $14.99, but 2 movies at a time for $14.99 instead of 3 at a time for $14.99 like it originally was.

It seems like I'm dealing with some people from another country that just can't understand my needs or doesn't care and just wants to rip me off. I've contacted them several times this week and it is still unresolved. Thanks for your time!

I just wanted to alert you as a consumer how I am disgusted of big corporations trying to screw consumers and hope that consumers won't do anything about it like cell phone bills. I hope you could take the time to look into this. I have the original emails they replied to me along with the original questions I emailed to them. Thanks for your time again.
