I am submitting this report because I feel it is my duty to warn the public so no one else becomes a victim of this woman's unsavory business and employment practices.
I am speaking for several ex employees who have been victimized by this woman. Her name is Dara Craft and she is a crook!! She willingly gives her employees paychecks knowing she doesn't have enough money to cover any of them.
She is down to 4 employees now and they still can't cash their paychecks. Then, like I use to, have to spend their weekends trying to hunt her down to get their money. She avoids them all weekend long screening all of her phone calls and messages. Then late on Sunday evening she'll pay them in cash so they will show up to work on Monday morning.
She is a snake and owes so many people money including creditors, manufacturers, not to mention 3 ex employees who all filed wage claims against her and her company. God knows who else she has scammed or owes money to. She cares nothing about her employees or the financial problems she causes them.
To avoid having to hire anymore employees to replace the ones she has screwed, she uses her children to work in the warehouse!! This is probably another law she is breaking because there are child labor laws as well.
Please do not do any business with this woman. She will cheat you and do everything she can to avoid paying you what she owes you. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS WOMAN--YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

This report is completely false and hurtful.
I worked for Dara Craft and she did many great things for me and my family. She would go out of her way to help us when we needed help, gave me time off when I needed to be with my family, and was a great person to work for.
There were a couple of very disgruntled employees that barely worked, wanted to be paid for not working, showing up late, not showing up at all and then left about the time that this was posted.
As for the check situation, I know that the company was trying to stay open and keep all of the employees. There was never only 4 employees though and the employees were always paid. Maybe this employee is speaking of one weekend that the accountant had trouble with the system and they literally withdrew cash and got it to us all within hours. Not something I was going to complain about - a small company having trouble and doing everything they could to pay me.
As far as her children, they came in to learn about the business and helped feed a printer at times or tie some bows - definitely not a sweat shop situation - just plain silliness.
Bottom line- this is obviously a disgruntled employee that decided to attack Dara personally. I guess it is going to happen if you own a business for any amount of time - Too bad though. Her kids are now of the age that they can actually Googled her name and find this after all of the years of hard work building a business. That's the reason I'm writing now. It's just sad how people can be so vindictive to someone trying to start a small business and employ them.

We did need to close this particular facility. We regret that its closure affected the employees that worked there.
