Bobby Allison Wireless rebate ripoff Does Not Their Honor Rebate Offers Altamonte Springs Florida
I bought a phone from Bobby Allison Wireless' kiosk at Altamonte Mall in August 2005. The phone was sold with a $50 dollar rebate. I mailed my rebate form with tracking and kept copies.
I contacted them in November when no check appeared and they gave me a corporate 800 number for Bobby Allison (800-366-9989 & 800-775-1670). I have since called the 800 number repeatedly. I confirmed they had my rebate form and my correct address.
They just keep saying the check printer is broken, there was high employee turn-over or mix-ups and my check would be mailed that week. I spoke to the same person every time.
The carrier is Cingular and they won't help. I have been a customer of Cingular for nearly ten years and even though they got another contract extension when I bought this new phone, they refused to help saying I had to continue to contact Bobby Allison Wireless directly.
My $50 is obviously gone - protect yourself and don't do business with these people if a rebate is involved!
