Complaint Review: BRB Home Improvement - Lancaster California

A wine gets better over time but this guy and his stories just take a walk on the wild side and leave a lot of BS on their way. The more Brock Bunge writes, the more he lies. Where to start gets difficult to decide because there
is so much more each time.

I told Brock the house was built in 1969 so there were no surprises in that. The part about being told 1977 is another invention of his. I dont think that he is the sort who can sue people cause than a judge sees what he did and will
definitely find against him. The part about Law Suit sounds a lot like the 6 times he promised to come over and repair his shoddy workmanship but didnt show up. Can we say BS on the Law Suit part :)

When I first met Brock Bunge, he introduced himself as a General Contractor who does many different jobs. We were at Lowes and when someone did something they werent supposed to do, Brock chastised her and told her he was a General Contractor. This guy speaks from two different sides of his mouth. He tells one story to one person and a totally different one to another one. There is something pathological about him. His website says he is licensed in California.
Handymen are not licensed, contractors are.

As for the story at Lumber Liquidators, there is some truth in this. Yes they did not have the flooring material available and Brock also wanted to get started on this job so he told me he has family in the area and could visit them and pick up the flooring. He asked me to pay for the gas and I said yes. I paid him with Check# 1079. He said he did this for free but he was paid for this. No free job but in all fairness he was entitled to be paid for the gas and I agreed to whatever he asked. Why lie about it by claiming he did it for free? Than the issue of the stairs treads, I never said I didnt want to pay
for $41 each. They never quoted him $41 either. Brock said he could get the same kind of stairs in Lancaster for less. I never had the opportunity to refuse to buy them. When having to repair the shoddy work Brock did on the stairs, I went back to Lumber Liquidators and they couldnt quote these because this was a special order so Brock never got a quote on these to start with. He just wanted to scam me and use cracked lumber for stairs. These stairs now creak and 6 out of 12 of them are cracked. If someone had quoted me $41 ea for stairs, I would gladly have paid for it. After more than a week, I finally got a quote from Lumber Liquidators. BROCK NEVER SUGGESTED HE WOULD INSTALL DOUGLAS FIR STAIRS to me.

He just told me to trust him and he will get the same kind of stairs in Lancaster. This is another lie on his part. You dont build stairs out of Douglas Fir because its a soft wood. Its not suitable for this. Only a scam artist does something like this. I never had a choice in the matter. It would have been good if he had given me the information. I had no idea what he was doing and he NEVER told me this. So much for trusting this guy.

Now on to more lies. He mentions that after his nephew left, I made homosexual advances on him and again, THAT IS A BLATANT LIE. He is a child in many ways. It kind of reminds me of the stories I had read of teenagers who called others gay just to humiliate them and years later would come out of the closet and declare themselves gay. I suspect there is a latent homosexuality in Brock Bunge that is rising and maybe soon will cause him to come out of the closet. In another complaint on this site by one Victor Krampitz Victor mentions that he was a Quality Inspector, Brock Bunge responds that he was a marine recon. When he worked for me, he told me that he never served a day with the armed forces. His comeback to Victor Krampitz is a lie and in a very childish fashion.  Brock was well treated at my place and even got breakfast every morning when my parents were here.

Brock mentions some free work like the bar. This job he did do for free. That does not entitle him to than build dangerous stairs that will get me or someone dear to me killed or badly hurt as they come crashing down. All he had to do was ask me to buy new stairs and I would have done this. HE NEVER DID THIS. Brock had quoted me $300 to transport and than install new shelves. Afterwards, he starts whining that hes not being paid enough and wants an additional $350. No other contractor has ever pulled this kind of crap on me. I had agreed to overpay Brock only because of the bar and 30 minutes of unloading my truck with my furniture. As a result, THERE WAS NO FREEBIE. All he did was try to over-bill me on another job.  While were at it, he didnt quite finish the bar which is his way of doing things. He never actually finished any project he started.

He was paid to remove the old paneling in the bar. Repairing or replacing the stairs will cost me considerably. Again, around the 3rd week after the stairs were finished, I pointed out the problem and he said he would fix it. My Mother asked him why the first stair was creaking and he said he would fix it.  It never happened Another lie about the stairs that needs to be cleared up. Brock NEVER incurred $375 in costs. All material costs were incurred by me. He did pay for
taking the garbage to the county dump but also left a bunch over here.

I'm already bored with this guy, He

sounds so sophisticated, Educated, And jovial, Well to be honest, He is!, He

makes a living at complaining about companies that He thinks done Him wrong! Let

me tell you about Abe Wurzel; He hired me to do a little job at first, skraping

his cielings of popcorn, He said his house was built after 1977, I found out

later that it was built in 1969, which means that the popcorn had

asbestos in it, can you say LAW SUIT !, He really loved how much money he

saved by lieing to me, Oh before I forget; I never said I was a general

contractor" ( remember this), So that job went great, Then Abe asked me if I did

flooring, I said sure!, So we went to lumber liquidators and pick out the

flooring, which would take 3-4 weeks to get, Well he didnt want to wait that

long, So I suggested that I could go down to meneffe to pick it up, because they

where going to charge $350.00 to deliever the flooring, Abe didnt want to pay

that much for the shiping, So I said I would just go get it at no charge! 2. He was very happy at saving a buck again!, Up to this point Abe was not yet moved in to this house!, The flooring job went great also, (you can go to my web site to see pictures; (www.brbhomeimprovementlancaster.com), After the flooring was installed, Abe informed me that He would be moving in to the down stairs area, I said that would be great!, so he didnt have to stay at a friends house any more. The day he showed up with the moving truck, He was going to go down to the Home Depot to hire some illegals to unload the truck, I informed him that He could get in trouble for doing that, I said that me and my nephew would unload the truck at no charge! (again free labor), He was very happy again,So now my nephew had to go back to school, So I was working alone, Thats when it all started with the homosexual advances started, I just bloew it off!, Anyways, Abe asked if I could do the upstairs flooring also, I said sure!, that job went great also!, Then Abe asked me what could be done with the wet bar?, I said dont worry I have something in mind for it, He went away for the weekend and I ended up taking all the old paneling off and installing all new waynes coat on the bar, When Abe came back and saw the bar, He loved it, He loved it even more when I told him that it was a "freebie" ( again more free work), Now his parents came to visit, (GREAT PEOPLE!), They just loved all that was done so far, and said to me that they hoped me and abe would be friends after the job was done, Also sorry I forgot to mention the STAIRS WHERE ALLREADY DONE AT THIS POINT", with no problems!!, His parents went up and down them every day !Me and Abe looked at stair treads at Lumber Liquidators, $45.00 Each, Abe didnt want to pay that much for them, So again I said he could save $ buy buying #1 doug fur 2x12 stair treads (which are code for stair treads in ca.) and laminate them with 3/4" birch plywood, He loved the thought at saving another buck!!I only charged him $500.00 labor and material for the stairs, (material was $375.00) again free work!!, to cut this short, I did Abe's master bath shower custom tile, installed all the fixtures, and some other things for FREE!!!, Then Abe kept making homosexual advances, I came to the point I was done!!!!!! I finished all that we agreed on , And left!! thought I was done with Abe!!, guess NOT!!!!

When a killer knives a person and is covered with their blood and his finger prints are on the weapon, it becomes impossible to deny his criminal act as the evidence so clearly marks him as guilty. Thats when he and his lawyer come up with excuses and lies. The killer is crazy and cannot be tried for that reason. So, a crazy story is spun in order to take away attention from the criminal act. The killer defended themselves or something.

In much the same way, Brock Bunges SHODY workmanship cannot be excused so the only possible response is for Brock to lie about me and not even address the shody job he did. The wood that he used for making the stairs,
may have been obtained from someones scrap yard, was cracked and of no use to anybody.  The moldings he put around the wood wasnt even nailed properly cause Brock LOVES TO CUT CORNERS when doing a job. Since there is no excuse for this, he makes up a wild story accusing me of all people of homosexuality.

During the little more than 3 months he worked on my house, he hungrily lapped up any jobs that he could. He was never forced to do anything and even bid against other contractors. He was well paid but the result of so much work was shoddy workmanship. He had every opportunity to come back and repair his workmanship but refused to do so. The pictures I posted show cracks but I couldnt post more pictures showing his irresponsible conduct.

He was also hired to install a window but didnt bother to put any waterproof material or build it to code. He bragged that he replaced the windows of some lady in Lancaster. I shudder to think of what she is undergoing as water is probably leaking through the walls. If he did all her windows the way he did mine, this poor lady will need a professional to repair the damage. I wonder if he will accuse her of being an unsatisfied l*****n when she complains about his Workmanship ????

This guy does not guarantee his work since some of this would be VERY COSTLY to repair. It would definitely be better to start and finish the job in a proper manner. But this doesnt speak to Brock Bunge. In short, his working conditions never included sexual advances. This guy has engaged in slander and libel.

Abe Wurzel is simply a lier. he hired me to do a small job for him, skraping his cielings of popcorn, this turned into 6 months of heart ache for me! all his homosexual advances included!! He is simply a frustrated gay!!!, when i didnt responed to his advances this is what he came up with!!
