Brows by G Microblading Courses False Certification Scam, Unable to Practice Microblading Legally in Winnipeg Manitoba
I'm expressing my dissatisfaction with the Microblading Certification program I purchased for my daughter from Brows by G. Upon completion of the course and training, we were told by the Apprenticeship board that in order to practice microblading in Canada, that as of 2018, one must now be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physician, or work in a Medical Spa under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licenced Physician.
It is not possible for my daughter to use her Microblading Certificate to start a small business as she had originally planned.
When I expressed this issue to the training company, they told me that my daughter can still provice Microblading Services because "Even though it's not allowed it's unlikely that she will get caught."
As a family that values ethics and integrity, there is no way my daughter will practice Microblading on the "off-chance" that she "might not get caught."
Additionally, the response from this company hinted to me that they are fully aware that they are selling something illegitmate, which is quite upsetting. So, I asked for a refund based on this information to which they denied.
As the Microblading Certificate is clearly nothing more than a piece of paper that doesn't licence an individual to practice this art in Canada unless one is an R.N or M.D and requires each student to comply with legal requirements out of reach for most, I am hoping for a full refund of the payment I made towards this course.
