Drove my 1968 Camaro to Tracy's shop to have car totally restored. Car was in great shape prior to taking it there, no rust, ran great. Going for show quality so I could take the car to car shows.

Was having interior restored from carpet to headliner, car repainted to a different color and drive train work done, new springs, front end rebuilt, front disc brakes...etc

Tracy said it would take 4 to 6 weeks. Car stayed in the same spot where I parked it for over 3 months and nothing done to it. After going up to Camaro World numerous times, he finally took it into his shop and took the body apart to have painted. (why paint it first...have no idea)

5 months and the car was painted and put back together (somewhat) and it sat in his shop with nothing being done for another 2 weeks, so I started going up to his shop after work 3 times a week to work on my car myself.

I tore down the front end so he would start ordering the parts and put it back together. Removed the rear springs myself since he had the new multileaf springs sitting in his shop for over a month and started putting them on my car myself, until he finally started helping.

At this point, my main focus was to get my car back together enough to get tires on it so I can get my car out of there. When the tires were back on, he couldn't get the brakes right and the car wouldn't move, ran fine, just wouldn't roll and he couldn't do anymore.

My car had to be towed back to my house. Now for the bad part. I am still finding numerous parts missing from the car that was there when I first took it to his shop.

The work done was very poor quality and the paint job(he charged me 3K for) is horrible. Nothing but swirls in the paint and chips very easily. Half the bolts on most of the parts replaced, or put back on, are missing and hardly any were tightened down. If I would have drove it home it would have fell apart going down the road.

I feel like a total idiot, but I dealt with this guy for over a year before taking my car in to let him work on it and I thought he was on the up and up.

I paid him over 13K up front to have all this done (I know, I know...I am an idiot) Before getting my car towed back home, my wife and I worked up a spreadsheet for the parts and work he didn't order or do. He refunded me a third of my money via a credit on our debit card.

2 months later he pulled the money refunded back out of our checking account without any notice to us at all. We contacted the bank immediately and reported the funds stolen out of our account. 3 months later fighting with the bank, they still would not refund or do anything about the stolen money.

This guy is a liar and a thief, he has ripped off numerous people and has multiple law suits against him. He has bad reports off of E-Bay and numerous Camaro boards.

Please do not associate yourself with Tracy Fields or Camaro World.

Tracey fields may have owen the shop but the person who would steal your cars, cut them up in pieces and any thing else that had to do with the shop would be Brent Regnold.  Look it up, he has a very long list of stealing.  Dallas county, collin county, denton county and even in other states.  He has been in prision for this crime.

Brent Regnold  DOB: 5/28/1970
