My name is Cody I work for a small company and we received a fax about a vacation. One came saying it was from my H.R. department and the other was like just some art work with a price. They told me about how the resort was advertising by selling off a percentage of room's, I was told all I had to do was give a 45 day notice and my dates would be 100% guaranteed., and pay $99 per adult at the resort Then they transfer you to someone who goes over it again. It is a very fast process from calling to get information and giving a credit card. When I booked the vacation the problems I had was related to very long hold times, and holiday and peak seasons being explained properly the holiday and peakseason fee was $200.00 (Justin did have it cut by $100) and they charged me another $99 for ground transfers.
So the vacation that was to be $398.00 plus $99 dollars for tips turned out to be $998 for 2 adults and 2 children for 12/22 to 12/27 I saved $800. Only problem their customer service is very inadequate and kind of rude, you will be place on hold for 30 to 45 min just to be told to call back, and reservations agents never return calls. At times I felt I had got scammed because I did not know what was going on, and my call where not being answered. It took 10 days but the resort did finally call me get my flight info and confirmed the vacation. The truth of the matter is this resort has a good deal but very inadequate customer service, I guess that's what happens when you buy direct from a Mexican corp.
