The employees of this company, with one exception, are rude and totally uncooperative, especially Dee Smith, a supervisor?

I have talked to Sandra, Crystal, Shannon, Ricki Bobbi, Jason Williams at 1-866-704-5937 Ricki Bobbi, who said he was a manager at the Sandos Playca Hotel took my credit card information, then hung up, so I immediatley cancelled the card. This guy had illegal intentions. I also heard him laughing just before he hung up.

Tanya Arroyo booked this on 3/10/09 for 6 people. The first 4 were Anthony & Patricia Vitale and Joseph & Helen Kalil. We paid $796 and got a confirmation #2800310090.

The other couple, Bob & Gerry Berthiaume also booked the same day and paid $398. Conf#28003-10090

The faxed sheet reads arrival (DOA) 4/25. and one-way transportation.

I must have talked to at least 10 reps and I cannot get a straight answer

On April 14th, I talked to Shanta Matthews, very nice, and she changed our dates (because the April dates went nowhere) of November 8-13, 2009 and said all 6 of us are confirmed. She also upgraded us to the Sandos caracol Hotel. Then, on April 15th, she called and said that this hotel could only accomodate 4 and the other couple would have to stay in another hotel 45 minutes away! This is asinine!

Her supervisor, "Dee Smith," was rude and told us that we should have called in to "activate" the trip. WE WERE NEVER TOLD, EITHER VERBALLY OR WRITTEN, THAT WE HAD TO DO THAT.

This company is ripping off Americans and needs to be stopped!

Please help to get our money back and we have already lost $600 for changing the air travel..............

This is very frustrating.

I received a fax at work from this company, could save lots of money booking through them instead. I asked what the SCAM was, am I going to have to listen to some timeshare crap for an hr when I arrive, and the gentleman said "No scam, we just want people to come out and look at our resort. We have rooms available and need to get them filled". I went along w/ it, paid $400 to book the rooms at anytime I wanted to. I needed to buy my airfare and then let them know when I was coming out. I booked my airfare for this Oct 09, I called last week and told my agent Tyra when I was coming out and she told me that I could choose between the Sandos Caracol and the Sandos Rivieria, BUT if i chose the nicer hotel, the Riviera, I had to pay an extra $200 for upgrade. WTF! I was NEVER informed I would have to pay more to stay at one of their resorts. THEN I called back on a Saturday to book the Caracol and was told that I had to book thru Tyra and needed to call her Monday. I called Monday, emailed her and no response. I called this company today, they told me I had to pay $50 for ONE WAY ground to my hotel. Fine, understand that. I tell Tyra I want to book the Caracol and gave her my cc info to book the ground. She THEN INFORMS me that when I check in, I need to set up a time for the 60-90 presentation, which from the beginning WAS NOT MENTIONED AND NOT PART OF THE VACATION!! WTF!!!! After I hung up w/ Tyra (who by the way you cannot understand AT ALL!) I called back, asked to speak w/ a manager, got hung up on. I called back 3 TIMES and got hung up on EVERY TIME!! When I finally talked to a manager, KELLY, she was VERY DISRESPECTFUL, RUDE, COMPLETE B@#e@!! When I explained my situation to her, she said that she had no idea why I was griping b/c the time I had wanted to reserve at the Caracol wasn't even availalbe, the only rooms avail were in Nov.! When I said I had already booked my airline, she said "well that's your problem, you should have booked the room before the air and I needed to change my airline reservation". Why in the hell would I do that when I could save money w/ the airline on certain dates?!? She then HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I also will owe $200 a week before our trip for taxes and gratuity. Once again, I was informed from the very first conversation, nothing else would be owed EXCEPT GROUND, I respect that. This company is awful and i have nothing positive to say except if you deal w/ them, I hope you talk to a lady named Ashley, she seems like the only NORMAL HUMAN BEING THERE! The planning of this trip has been nothing but a pain in my #E$# and I have a feeling when we get to Mexico and arrive at the resort, it will only get worse. FML!
