Attention Customers, potential customers, partners, employees, vendors, insurance companies. Please read the following, I will recant the entire story of my unbelievable encounter with this corrupt organization.

This nightmare began on July 12, 2010 when I was hired on as an employee. They had me and other Canopy members move 1, 100 miles away from family and friends for over 8 months. What they do is have you move across the country, pay you a measly $500 draw, which doesn't even cover your living expenses, pay you no money until the jobs are 100% complete and all the monies have been collected from the insurance companies. Canopy Construction LLC, GZH Enterprises, and Epsilon Holdings have defrauded myself, an employee, and Mike Briscoe, one of the limited partners out of $100, 000.00+.

Mike and I worked 14-16 hours a day, 7 days a week in Appleton, WI to help this community recover from the hail storm that occurred on July 20, 2010. After of about $1, 500, 000 of sales between Mike and I, they waited until all the checks except for about one or two were collected and they then terminated us without cause. Mike was a limited partner, which he couldn't be just simply terminated. They locked us out of the database, our company email, and turned our phones off, without even gas money for us to return to Texas.

After extensive research we found that Canopy Construction's license to do business in Wisconsin has been revoked since October 22, 2010, see attached certificate. And even more disturbing was that they owe their supplier over $100, 000.00. And after further research we learned that there were other partners and employees that have been scammed by Canopy Construction, and they still owe them money. They have defrauded their customers, insurance companies, and Mike and I out of money. They will certainly use low quality materials on your homes, while being paid for top quality replacement by the insurance companies.

The 3 partners of this corrupt organization is as follows... Andrew James Heape, Nicholas Kane Zindel, and James Trey Gibson. They do business under the names of Canopy Construction LLC, GZH Enterprises, and Epsilon Holdings. If you need any further documentation or information, feel free to contact me 24/7, and I will be glad to forward any information requested.

Canopy Construction’s headquarters is located in Irving, Texas, and they are currently doing their work in Phoenix, Arizona. Below are the addresses, and phone numbers for these two office locations….

Canopy Construction solicitor signed me for roof repair. Every time there was a different person who contacted not sure what happened to other but last person told me she quit. I did not see any body from company on site. Work was actually done by their sub-contractor who burned most of bushes in front of my house. I tried calling local office to settle the balance but no answer. Now I have a call from Texas area threatening to turn over the account to attorney.

I will never do business with them again. When I checked Better Business Bureau site they have a warning stating Canopy Construction is not accredited in Tennessee and they have been ordered to remove BBB log from all their literature.

This is John Margetis/Mike Briscoe. I am the author of the
previous posting regarding past issues I had with Canopy Construction and its
management. Those statements were written at a time when I was involved in a
heated dispute with the Company. I regret making those statements and I fully
retract them. Please don't contact me regarding these matters. I have no

I have been with Canopy Construction since November of 2010, just slightly over nine months. In that time I have had quite a few interactions with all three owners. I have also had the chance to gain a few friendships with people who have been a part of this company from the beginning. As well as others who have known these gentlemen for much longer. And not once have I heard of any incident that would bring their integrity into question.

One of the major reasons I chose to work with Canopy, after a very extensive period of research, is their level of integrity as a company as well as individuals. I am very happy to say that they have all exceeded my expectations. Unless you have been in the restoration industry for long you may not know how difficult this is to find. I would suffice to say that I dare you to find anyone else who treats their employees better, provides more, and is always in honest in every way possible.

In spite of having many job offers in this industry (my previoius company went out of business and did not pay me a lot of money that they still owed) some of which paid more, I moved from Denver to Phoenix to go to work for Canopy Construction. I started as a Project Manager and in doing so, passed up two other management offers making more money. I am very happy to say that I definitely made the right decision.

As I have committed myself to Canopy and exhibited my abilities, work ethic and integrity they have continued to reward that and they have ALWAYS paid me what was owed, when it was owed. I am pleased to go into much greater detail if anyone would like to have more questions answered. My # is 480.two13.38six6. Please research all sides of the story before forming a negative opinion about this fine group of people.
