I have had a Capital One Prepaid Mastercard for several months now. All of a sudden when I setup direct deposit and they see a lump sum of money going into this account everyother week. I went into the store on last Friday which was 02/26/10 and was informed my card declined on the POS side. I used the credit side which it went through fine. The next day I decided to contact Capital One Prepaid and was told that they froze my account stating they needed to verify my identity.
In the process of it all I lost my card. I called on Sunday Feb 28,2010 and advised of this information. I have been calling all week and have been told my card was sent on March 2,2010 Express mail. We all know when something is sent express mail there is a tracking number. I have spoken to several reps and supervisors and was told they cannot and don not have a traken number. Finally after calling all week I was told today that they have not mailed my card and it will not be until 03/15/2010.
I am tired of the lies and the deceipt. For this company to call themselves Capital One they are really giving Capital One a REALLY bad name. At this point I am ready to call the FDIC and the FBI and have them investigated. PLEASE PLEASE if you are thinking about getting a card through this people think again, you probably will never see your money!!! BEWARE
