Capital One This Credit Card Componay is totally out of control! Richmond Virginia
Called Capital One to take advantage of 12 month No Interest advance with a 3% origination fee. Of course this was all handled in INDIA with some that didn't always comprehend what was going on!
Gave all the info to Miss India, including the amount of $12,724.63 and the name of the bank I wanted the check made out to. She repeated all the information and confirmed the check would be mailed to me.
5 days later I receive the check, but it's made out for only $2,724.63. Wow, how'd that happen? I went to my Capital One online account and Wow again; they already posted the full $12,724.63, plus the advance fee of $381.73.
So where's my other $10 grand? I place a quick call to Capital One and this time I get Mr. India. After going off the phone three times, must need to consult with one of those really intelligent Capital One financial gurus.
He finally returned and tells me that my $10,000 check that I requested over a week earlier had not yet been sent. He was quick to add that it took a lot of time to process this type request . . . to which I told me he was full of S _ _ T.
Mr. India must have taken offense at the word as he began babbling in some foreign language, not sure which one . . . Maybe Indian?
The bottom line . . . First I cancelled our Capital One business credit cards, and when the advance is paid off, that account will go as well.
It is obvious that Captial One could care less about their customers. The inability to "communicate" with a person who had some authority and responsibility is NUTS! The original Ms. India that made a mistake and issued the first check in the wrong amount has totally screwed up this financial transaction.
The lack of someone within the Capital One organization that can resolve a screw-up by their personnel is unforgiveable, and I can only hope that people will not use Capital One in the future.
