Career Awards Of America, CAA they sent out nice young girls promising great deals on magazines, they took money and never sent out the magazines Ripoff Sugar Land Texas
On 2-8-2006 after 5pm two young girls came to the barracks located on Ft Benning, Ga. They had a really nice attitude and said that they were students selling magazines to win a trip.
I put them in my car, took them to the ATM and gave them $100 dollars cash and wish them luck on winning their trip. They gave me a receipt which read: Carrer Awards of America, Sugar Land, TX 77478 and the phone number on the receipt was 800-482-1745.
They told me that I would get the magazines in three months, but they never came. Honestly I thought maybe it just takes a while. I called the number and there is always no answer, it says that the operater in on the line or something like that.

They were not students. They were canvassing on a military propery. That is illegal. They will not win a trip. The 800 number is phony. They work very long hours for between 10-20 dollars a day. They work 6 days a week and are not allowed to get sick. They will owe taxes on wages they will never receive when they are fed up with this dead end job and find their way home. They are often beaten for having a bad sales day and continually barraged with verbal assaults when they think independantly. They are transported like cattle in unsafe vehicles from one town to the next because they have made an area "hot" to work with authorities. ALL employers involved in this modern day slave-labor business have criminal records. It comes with the territory...so to speak. Their backgrounds include countless misdemeanors to serious felony convictions. If you are lucky enough to ever get the overpriced magazines...you should know that you have helped some magmgr further an enterprise many folks are trying to abolish. Next time, say no thanks...tell friends your experience...and never, EVER let them into your home.Getabunch.
