Complaint Review: Caribbean Cool Air - Kissemmee Florida

This company is a sham from the get go! If you Google the company not much comes up other than the word "FICTICIOUS" however, do a Florida contractor license search and you'll get the information you need to stay away from these people. They were advertising HVAC services in our area. When I called the company Javier Morales answers the phone (his number) and told us he was local although all indications state otherwise! The address associated with the license (in another persons name) is 150-200 miles away. Nothing turns up any sattelite office where he claimed to be from.

My installed system was only 5 years old when we called these people for service. We were told the system needed very expensive repairs and a new system would be the way to go. Another previous contractor had replaced the condensor fan when the system was only 2 years old and also added freon. I know nothing about home HVAC but I have turned wrenches on auto, truck, and heavy equipment for 40 years and do know that freon does NOT evaporate!! If you need freon you have a LEAK..........PERIOD!! I believe the first guy over charged the system which caused it not to work properly in the first place.

Of course when these shiesters came along, you need a new system regardless! They buy these systems for $500-$800 and charge you $3000-$5000 for a 4 hour install!!

This fly-by-night cuts the line to the condensor in total violation of every enviromental law out there allowing 5 minutes of freon release straight into the environment! Totally illegal and proof the system was not low on freon!

He installs the new system in 4 hours time, tries several times to load my old system into his truck even though I told him I was keeping it! The work was so-so. I told him the plenum was not level like it should be...didn't matter.....it was all about get it in and run with his pay day!

Two years after install we start having issues with not removing humidity. I email him I need service.....no response! I then call him and he tells me 1-2 days before he can get there......NO SHOW! I then call him again 2 weeks later and he tells me a date and time........again, NO SHOW! Once this loser has your money the service ends even though he'll bullshit you to death at time of install!

Here's where it gets complicated..........Caribbean Cool Air comes up as 3200 Dew St-Kissemmee, Fl under Patrick L Blanchard with a contractor license number of CAC1816773 also known as A-1 Quality Construction Inc. There's nothing about Javier Morales! Javier Morales told me he OWNED the company. If you Google Javier Morales he comes up all over the place in the Tampa area! Either this loser is using some elses identity and the whole company thing is ficticious or he was an employee........not an owner! Either way he's a shiester dirtbag.......BEWARE AND AVOID THIS COMPANY AND JAVIER MORALES LIKE THE PLAGUE!! I'm not even sure Javier Morales is his real name however, his PHONE NUMBER IS...........(813)356-8289!!
