Cash 2000 ripoff business from hell Nashville Tennessee
On Tuesday 7/23/02 I went to Cash 2000 to cash my payroll check as I have done many times before. The person at the desk took my check and drivers license and disappeared to the back for several minutes. She came back and stated that she could not cash my check because the previous check I cashed there had a stop payment on it.
This was an error on behalf of the company's payroll dept that could have been cleared up with a simple phone call from the check service. The stop payment had been removed
long before the check went through. When I told her that I would wait and check with payroll before doing anything, she refused to give me my check back. Instead she cashed the check against my will and took out a very large sum.
I had even offered to give her the bank information and payroll phone number so she could verify the check. She refused and was very rude.
When I left, I contacted payroll. The payroll rep then called Cash 2000. She stated that they were rude and impossible to work with. She ended up hanging up on the employee who tried to claim that she was a manager.
Now the company is trying to work with the bank since Cash 2000 refuses to cooperate in any way.
Never again will they receive business from myself or any family and friends!!!
