This company has called me several times at work; and now is trying to say that they are going to file "felony check fraud" charges against me as well as bad check charges. How do I get these people to stop calling me? I have had to close my personal bank account because of these jerks, and they have even left voicemail messages for my supervisor.

I don't want to lose my job, but they will not give me a physical address to send payment to and I am not about the give them my account information again! Please any help would be appreciated. I don't see how a company can operate in such flagrant violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

I too have used this company and got into a bad situation where I had multiple loans until my account had to be closed due to my information being comprised. I mailed certified request to them asking them to not contact me at work, they did any way repeatedly.... I told them that I would continue to turn them into whoever I had to in order to prevent them from calling my job..... didn't work, they harassed the crap out of me!!! I finally got to the position that I could make arrangements with them and they took a little off of the balance, which was a good thing. I turned them into the State of Utah Financial Department, Attorney General and whoever else I could think of and I received a letter from the financial affairs office and they had requested a reply from Cashnet 500 for harrassing me at work and telling them to work out arrangements with me. They were horrible and I couldn't get them to stop calling my job, after sending a second certified letter to them they refused it and it has been returned to me. That is okay though because I had the first letter and all of my proof, emails, dates, names of people that called me and I forwarded it all in with all of my complaints to the above departments. I have arrangements with them and have made my first payment but I received a couple of calls in the past week from them again. These people are true knee breakers and it is SAD, but they know that the normal average person doesn't have time to sue them for harassment. I just want them out of my life and PAID IN FULL, I will have learned a lesson and will never do this again. GOOD LUCK AND HOPE THAT IT ALL WORKS OUT FOR YOU.

I actaully had a similar situation happen to me, a company sent me a threating letter in the mail and threated to come to my house and arrest me in front of my family!! I would just send them a letter or tell them when you recieve your next phone call that they are in violation of the Consumer Rights Act. That put a stop to it for me. And was able to pay my debt without any further harassing. Good Luck.
