I ordered the portable hammock that was advertised on Living Social through Cautivadora July 6, 2013.
I received a confirmation from Cautivadora within the week and then a shipping confirmation on 8/1/2013. On 8/16, I received an email from the company saying that the order was being shipped via UPS Ground but, I did not receive an confirmation with tracking number from them.
I attempted to call their customer service line but was unable to get through and left several messages which were never returned. I spoke to the representatives at Living Social and they stated that they'd followup with Cautivadora for me. They replied to contact them via email and I did get a response and reference to Q&A's which answered the full charge question.
I called four different times to Cautivadora 877-601-0001. Each time I got a voice recording asking me to leave a detailed message and that they would get back to me. Got a recording that indicated no one was available to take call. Wrote email to Cautivadora customer service to find out what to do & never got a reply. Tried calling the L.S. number again & recording said the line was disabled. It is late August and I am still waiting for their phone call.
I then wrote Cautivafora an email and this was the response that I got back:

For those of you with a Living Social Hammock voucher that starts with 1000 please contact Living Social for a new voucher number. Your voucher should start with FHC.

So I wrote to customer service at Living Social describing what was happening. They did respond & said they would look into it. I forwarded them all the emails I had from Cautivadora. I asked if they screened their vendors since I had found several complaints against this company.
Generally, I check out any site before making any online purchase but put faith in Living Social to deal with legitimate companies. I was wrong and now am out money because of it. I won't be dealing with Living Social going forward and will let everyone of my friends know that they should stop too because of my incident and other that I have read about on this site. Thank you for providing the consumer a means to share their bad experiences and to warn those unknowing.
Last time I do anything with Living Social. They dropped the ball & did not support this customer. And this should go without saying -- but, I won't order anything from Cautivadora -- ever!
