This company is a rip off they scam you into signing contracts and dont maintian the equipment. If you ask them to come fix the faulted system they charge your every time, but yet you still have to pay the monitering fee for a alarm system the doesnt even work. Be aware of scams and faulty contracts!!!

Bob's allegations regarding Certified Security Systems (dated 8/29/08)

Bob's allegations regarding "scams and faulty contract practices" are misrepresented. In reading his complaint, he is claiming that Certified Security charged him for the repair of his security equipment. If his equipment was inoperable and he did not purchase "Warranty Service" within his contract, he would naturally be charged for his repair. This is no different than any other product that is sold, where an act of God or man that may render equipment non-functional, is chargeable for repair. Bob is confusing his purchase of "Monitoring Services" as warranty compensation to cover any repair of his equipment. These are two totally distinct services (and fees) and would have been explained accordingly to him when he contracted with our company. Our offices have no notes of Bob's communicating with us to express his grievance, so it is regretful that we are learning of his issue through this forum.
