Chadwicks of Boston Accepted my return and didn't issue me a credit or exchanged items--sent it with delivery confirmation too!! Milford, Connecticut
I purchased a dress to wear to a wedding. It didn't look good on me, so I wanted to exchange it for alternate items. I filled out my paperwork and listed the items I would like for the exchange. I then mailed it priority mail and paid for delivery confirmation. I mailed my item on Feb. 10,2012. USPS tracking confirmation shows that someone signed for the package on Feb. 12, 2012. That was nearly one month ago, so I decided to call and check on the status of my exchange.
The telephone number listed in the "contact us" section on their website is for a number that is not in service! I emailed the company and explained that I am waiting for the items for my exchange and asked kindly if they would please email me as to the status. Nobody will reply. I am so extremely frustrated with this whole experience! Had I known that they were going to keep my dress and not issue me the items for the exchange I would have kept the dress and saved over $10 in return postage and the $40 I had already paid for the dress. I am shocked! What are my options? I can't call them and they won't reply to emails. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
