Charlotte Pediatric Clinic misdiagnosis, bad medicine for children Charlotte North Carolina
During the time from 1997 through 2000 my daughter was treated at this facility. We continually would take her with a bad cough and congestion in her upper chest. The doctors would check her, hear the congestion and then either tel us to give her some cough medicine or would give a perscription for anti-biotics. Neither of which worked.
It was not until after we moved away from the Charlotte area that my daughter was admitted into a hospital for a week. she was diagnosed with untreated Asthma. She had to take steroids for almost 2 years to combat the growth of the Asthma.
I think they just keep you coming without referrals so as to get a greater return from the HMOs for not sending sick children to specialists. DON'T LET MONEY RUIN OUR HEALTHCARE SYSTEM.
