I bought a new car at cheaps. And while finishing up the paper work to take it home. Was given a paper saying. The car had hail damage. From a storm we had. But the guy said everything was fixed. I later found out that wasn't true. There was dents still in it. And the pop a dent company they used. Didn't put the headliner back in right. There was foam sticking out. And coming loose a little each day. The dome light and cover wasn't put back in correctly. And the dome light only came on when the doors was open. There was also a clip out. The top molding was coming loose. I had to take it back to them. The pop a dent guy fixed the foam coming out. But couldn't fix the light or dome cover at that time. Plus he needed to take it to fix the dents. So a second time I took it back to get fixed. When I got it back. The dome cover was damaged to the point. The service department has to order me a new cover. And the dome light switch had to also be replaced. It didn't work either. So I'm still waiting on these parts to come in. And I've only had it 3 weeks.
Now the faded paint and scratches that needed to be repaired and painted. The manager advised me not to do anything to it. Cause if they had to paint it. It could make it look worse. I wasn't buying that bull. If it meant they replace the car. Or paint the whole thing. Had to drop it off for a third time. When I got it back 2 and a half days later. The car was returned to me on empty. They sent it out of the county. The paint still had faded places in it. And the one scratch was just touched up. You can see and still feel it. The molding is still loose In two places now. The car was filthy to the point. You could write your name on it. And possibly see it from the inside the showroom. I pointed all this out to the service department. I was told that someone from management would call me. But I seen them walking around. And not one looked at me. Or came over to see how things are going. Knowing that I've been having so many issues with it. So I went home. And after a time nobody called. I called and only could leave a voicemail. The manager didn't pick up. So the lady gave me his voicemail. Still nobody has called me. I then spent two days after work. Washing and then waxing and buffing the whole car. Buffing and re waxing again. To get the faded areas looking better. Something I was told they would take care of. Had to wait until the sun went down. So the metal was cool. And both nights. Spent up to 9:00 at night. Plus had to work those days. I had no choice but to involve G.M in this issue.
So after having the car 3 weeks. And in the shop 3 times. And still has to go back again. I hope this time is the last. Here is my experience and hope those whom are looking to shop there. Take every precaution. Ask first if the vehicle had hail damage. If I knew all this was going to be a big problem after problem. I wouldn't have bought anything from them. And now in good conscience. Cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. If I wasn't so excited about getting a v8 Camaro. I would've noticed the red flag. Waiting until the paperwork was all but done. To be told it had been damaged by hail. But I do love the car. Good luck and be careful. As with any dealership.
