Indeed. Jaguars have LONG been known for their multiple problems. Even brand new ones were often filled with various build quality problems, primarily electrical, which is why Jaguar never gained the reputation and customer base of Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Audi, Lexus, etc.
Customers were loathe to pay an exorbitant amount of money for a car that needed repairs on such a regular basis, and as a result, Jaguar was reportedly in dire financial straights when Ford bought them in 1998. But Ford couldn't fix the problems, mechanical nor financial, and Jaguar's total profit during this time was reported by Ford as ZERO.
Then in 2008, Ford put Jaguar up for sale and eventually sold the company to TATA MOTORS, a manufacturer located in India, in order to divest itself of this automotive albatross. It's yet to be seen as to whether or not TATA will be able to repair JAGUAR'S multiple problems and sorry reputation.
As the above poster stated - The problems are Jaguar's fault, not the dealer's.

Glitzy, but in general, very unreliable. Be a bit irked at the manufacturer..the dealer didn't build it.
