Hello Guys
Ive seen one report on here about this company and i would like to share my experiences with you about them aswell. Its concerning bidware .com and there hosting service powhost .com
Now i bought a domain name and 2 years hosting hosting off them and was told that cause i had to pay not by paypal then i would be charged double. I spoke to a man named chris. Now me desperatly needing a domain agreed to this and paid him the money by bank transfer.
So i also bought his software from him and he said that if i give him my details he would set it all up for me free of charge. Now he said it would take him 2 days,
3 weeks had passed and i kept contacting him and he said that it would be done when he is good and ready. In the end i got fed up of waiting after waiting 7 weeks i asked for a refund.
He told me to get lost and that he was keeping the domain name and the software i had bought would become useless.
He threatend me that if used the software he would sue me for copyright theft cause it was his company name on the software. But why would he sell it to me if he knew i was going to use it????
Anyway i didnt use it and he said that he didnt want to speak to me again and swore at me. So i said i was going to contact the police and he said go ahead and do it cause the police would never find him.
Now i have contacted the police for him ripping me off and they told me there was nothing they could do as he was in another country usa.
He has kept emailing me abusing me on the emails calling me a limy son of a bi**h, and was going to come and kill me and my family. limy so i have heard is an insulting word to british people.
So i have been ripped off for over $1000 and cannot get my money back. I have tried contacting my bank but they dont seem to want to help.
I have lost alot of money and time due to this company and i suggest that everyone stay away from them if you know whats good for you.
Since dealing with this bloke i have found a great free hosting website that dont charge what so ever and has much bigger space to upload my website. They also give unlimited free support unlike chris from bidware who only abused me countlessly.
The free hosting is 000webhost, if you google it and type 000webhost you'll see it. everything is free about this company and they are amazing.
I just wish that i had found these guys before being ripped off by bidware. So please i beg you all, dont bother paying this guy from bidware money when
1) he will rip you off endlessly
2) you can use free hosting with a free domain name at 000webhost
Please guys dont get caught out like i did and get abused by these theives.

BidWare Best Free Auction Software On The Net

I've recently downloaded the free version of BidWare auction script. I've been searching for/experimenting with several free version auctions scripts on the net, and as of yet I can't find one better than BidWare. It has all of the basic features that one needs, is incredibly easy to install, and has excellent instructions. I am no programmer, but I'm trying to develop a go-green auction site at http://www.earthincentives.org, and without this awesome BidWare auction script, it wouldn't be possible. I've tried PHPauction v3.3, oscMall v4, and two others, and none of them compared to this.
So far, I don't have any experience with the person running things, so I can't vouch for their support just yet, but when it comes to a GREAT product, with an EXTENSIVE free version, this is it. Don't listen to the twirp above. I've never taken the time to defend software before, but I saw this rip-off report after I've been so satisfied, that I just had to vouch for this.
To whomever Chris is: THANKS MAN, A+!

Bidware.com even has a free version of auction software for anyone to try.

We've recently browsed a few forums, and found that 'Dave Leeroy' is posting more false information about us throughout the web. For the record, we have not and never will 'scam' anyone. We even have a free version of Bidware.com auction software that anyone can try out. We even install it for free on our webhost upon request. Please contact us for details. Thank you.

That's a customer who was given a discount, who still complained. He never paid $1000. He paid $29 in total. I have the paypal receipt. (for 2 months hosting (worth $20), installation (worth $65), and the software (worth $75), so you can see he was trying to scam us first, then realized that he can't get it all for free, so he got mad and posted this lie on the web. To update you all, Mr. Dave Leeroy (Greg Rees according to the paypal statement) is now demanding a Free domain name, otherwise he will keep reprinting this statement around the web. This is defamation, so we will be pursuing this legally to the furthest extent possible. His last email states: not going to sound good isit, yeah i might have a false alligations charge but your scamming charge will be alot worse than mine yanky!!!!!' and clearly admits that he is making false accusations towards us. Also, to let everyone know, we have our FREE version of bidware to download at www.bidware.com. No one is getting scammed here. He is trying to extort the free domain name by posting these allegations until we send it to him. Thank you.
