I am currently a student at the Chubb Institute in Cherry Hill, NJ. I am in my second term, and have seen nothing but a poor education. Sadly enough, things felt funny from day 1. Many teachers suffer from severe incompetence, and dont thoroughly teach the material. The employees are creepy as hell, and they are very unfriendly.

When i went to get information regarding enrollment, the recruiters were over-bearing, and very similar to used-car salesmen. Once you are actually enrolled, the atmosphere is completely different.

The tuition is outrageous, considering the poor and out-dated equiptment at the facility. When i went to enroll, i was told that chubb is a difficult school, with an enrollment board, and enterance exam. It was a joke. A monkey could take and pass the enterance exam. Ive seen complete and utterly incompetent people good well on that exam, which "qualifies" them to take any course at the school. It's scary.

Their multimedia program is the only decent program in the school. The multimedia teachers and equiptment are superior to that of the technical department.

Chubb claims to be able to help with job placement, and that they have high placement percentages. The fact is, most companies want a formal education (BA, MA) plus certifications and experience.

Chubb is falling extremely short of my expectations, and falling short of the many promises and guidelines promised by the school itself. Im afraid for my future. I dont know what to do at this point.

M, if you are receiving ill-feelings in regards to the education Chubb is providing you then it maybe best if you drop out of the program. If you are upset now, imagine how you will be once you owe more money in student loans. You seem to be on the right track if you are picking up on the shortcomings of Chubb. Take time off and research deeply into the field you want to go into and the school you want to attend. David - Central New Jersey
