CIC Triple Advantage Free Credit Reports Charged Me Without Telling Me! ripoff scam artist Irvine California
This company scammed me for 4 months straight. I just realized that this company was charging me over and over and I didn't know what it was for. After looking it up on the internet I found out it was a FREE credit report that I used last year. I never knew that they charged you afterwards!
I called them right away and was able to cancel my account after some struggle. The representative on the phone (Ryan) kept trying to get me to continue my account. First, he tried to get me to keep my account since I was billed 3 days prior and I would lose all my "priveliges" if I canceled. So I "might as well" keep the account for the next 60 days to keep all my crap. Um, wait a sec...your company charges every 30 days. So I tell him No thanks just cancel it! THEN he says well he is authorized to give me a 25$ visa card to spend if I kept my account. Probably hoping I would forget about it so I am charged again. I said NO THANKS please cancel my account. Finally he eventually did. What a pain. I am now getting my bank to claim this as a fraudulent act and hopefully will get my money back.
