Cingular Wireless home of the worst Customer Service on the Planet RIPOFF Fort Worth Texas
I ordered a Pay as You Go Phone freom Cingular in November 2005. I went to add some additional minutes on it before the 30 days was up so that I wouldn't lose the minutes that I already had. I tried to refill it online but found that the minutes had not been credited but a hold had beeen put on my bank account for the amount. Their customer service is absolutely the worst thing I have ever seen.
After 2 days and about 5 hours on the phone with about 20 different people, I was left with no minutes added to my phone, but 3 holds on my bank account for $26 each! Figuring that this phone is useless unless I can put minutes on it I told them I was returning the phone for a refund.
To make matters worse they told me they would send me an email with a link for instructions for return. They sent me an email but their was no link in it! Par for the course with this company. SO I called again and now they were trying to tell me that my 30 day return period was up. I explained that it was not, and besides I had spent 2 days trying to get it refilled and couldn't. I sent the phone back on Dec 22 and have still not received a refund or heard from them.
I urge anyone reading this to not do business with this company. They are THE WORST.
