Hmm I don't know what's funnier; that I gave feedback on an online forum or that people actually have so much time out of their lives to post bogus reports. How do you know this is a joke post? Are you the anonymous poster? Believe it or not, there are actually people who are like these two "customers" out there. I guess I should have laughed in the elderly lady's face a couple of months ago when she tried to return clothes at my Best Buy because she's clearly being satirical.

Let me give you a hint on this report ... ever hear of satire? I don't know what's funnier ... this report, or the fact that you took it seriously.

@ "Private" - Columbus, Ohio A freakin pack of gum?! You should have taken the manager's offer of him buying you one with the change in his pocket because your "report" is trivial at best. I can't believe someone actually tried to exchange/return a pack of gum... I've worked in retail for a good number of years and I gotta say this "report" takes the cake in terms of the "stupidest thing a customer has done" bar the time a customer tried to return clothes to a grocery store I worked for. I don't know whether to laugh or cry for this... @ Consumer - Port Richey, Florida Read the manufacturer's warranty again. Hell, read any warranty! No warranty or self-preserving business would cover that type of damage/abuse. That "beer damage" would be classified under physical abuse. Only certain retailers offer an accidental damage warranty, and their terms for accidental are written out well. Spilling beer on a digital camera is just gross negligence. I guess next time you should buy that "rip off warranty".

I bought a digital camera from CC 5 years ago. I didn't buy the extended warranty because we all know that it is such a rip off. Well, last week my moms drunk of a boyfriend came home all drunk again and made me mad so I decided I was going to throw the camera at him and it landed in a pot of boiling water after smashing to small parts from hitting the wall. I brought it back and they said they wouldn't replace it because I broke it and I didn't by the accidental warrantee, plus I paid for it in cash that I had stolen from my mom who is also a drunk and I didn't give them any of my personal information cause I didn't want my mom to find out. So now they cant find my information in their system and im stuck with a broken camera. My baby's daddy went their to buy a TV their about 6 months ago and he paid in cash for it so they have no record of the purchase cause he didn't give them any information when he bought it so that the cops couldn't find him. Well we got really drunk the other night and he spilled is beer all over it and that think started to spark like there was no tomorrow. Those jerks at CC had the never to tell him it was out of the exchange warranted and beer damage isn't covered. What is this world coming to.
