Citi Residential Lending/ AMERIQUEST CITI practices are blocking sale of my house. Santa Ana California
my mortgage was with Ameriquest. Then, Citi, bought out my mortgage from them. i recently tried to refinance my loan by calling their refinance line. each time i called, i got their answering machine, and had to leave a message. after 2 months of this, my messages started getting angry and frustrated. when i purchased my mortgage from Ameriquest, my title company called and got the PAY-OUT amount , over-the-phone, in just a few minutes. the papers were signed, and i was a homeowner. this time, with Citi, i found a buyer and the sale is due to close this week. my mortgage company faxed over all the documents signed . Citi has a policy of WAITING 7-10 working days to be able to tell me, how much do i need to PAY-OFF this loan , today??? NOW, everything is being held up BY Citi. AND they call me EVERYDAY, REPEATEDLY, asking me , when am i going to make my next house payment??? 2 days BEFORE the closing date!!!!! this is most MOST ignorant arguement , ive ever had , next to argueing with a teenager. i hope Citi, goes bankrupt too.
