Received this notice by mail on May 2, 2020 stating,
The City of Temple, PWS ID TX014005, failed to meet the minimum treatment technique requirements for the months of March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, and November 2019. Specifically, our water system failed to provide conforming Cryptosporidium treatment.
Also adding,
Inadequately treated water may contain disease-causing organisms. These organisms include bacteria, viruses, and parasites that can cause symptoms such as nausea, cramps, diarrhea, and associated headaches.
This is not the first time such incident has happened. A few years ago we received a notice from The City of Temple regarding another warning the water was inadequately treated and could cause health complications such as central nervous system damage.
