Buyer beware, do not shop from Amiee Sima from Claire's Bowtique!
I purchased a pillowcase dress for $8 from Amiee on June 19th from one of her "Fun Friday" game nights. She was very quick in writing me back about my order and answered any questions I had (which of course she was...she was getting ready to rip me off!). On her facebook page she noted several times it would take 4-6 weeks to get your order.
On July 24th I emailed Amiee asking about the status of my order since it was placed 5 weeks ago. She wrote back saying my order would be shipping out that upcoming week.
Amiee goes on vacation and states several times on her page that all outstanding orders had been shipped. She also stated that it would take 48 hours for her to respond to all messages while she was on vacation. Well on August 21st I sent her a facebook message asking her about my order and never wrote back. She was on vacation so I did not bombard her with messages, I patiently waited till the August 30th to write her again (mind you this is after she is home from vacation now). She does not respond to my email so I wrote her on facebook. That day she responds and says She will see what is going and will get back to me.
September 4th I write Amiee again to see what the status is of my order since she never got back to me. She asks me to send the original order form to her so she can check into it.
Septemeber 13, 14, & 16 I write Amiee asking her what is going on with the order. She never writes me back. I start to get aggravated since I placed the order in June. She was on facebook posting pictures of dresses and teeshirts she was making but would not respond to me.
I filed a claim with paypal even though it was way over the 45 day refund they have. I called paypal and explained the situation and they refunded me my $8. The person I talked to said there had been MANY complaints against her account so he refunded me. I still have NOT heard a word from Amiee nor gotten the dress I ordered. I am glad I got my money back, but I wish it would have been personally from Amiee.
I personally know 2 other people who have gone through similar situations I have with Amiee and have yet to see their items purchased. She is known for making up tracking numbers and sending them saying your order has been shipped, but those numbers are invalid of course and the person never gets their item. She does not scam every person who purchases from her, that's how she keeps her business going so she has some loyal fans still. She also scams for little amounts like me $8 and my other two friends who both orders were under $20.
So buyers beware...Amiee at Clarie's Bowtque will take your money, pretend to be working on your items, and even sometimes pretend to ship them. But she wont! (unless you happen to be one of the very few people who she decides not to scam!)
