Where does the horror begin? I should have known better when the sales rep called us back and told us that they had a home on the lot like the one we were ordering ,that we could get and wouldn't have to wait on ours to be ordered(almost a week later, and me being positive that I didn't see this one on the lot when we initially did walk throughs for a home).

When we arrived to view it, being a double wide, it was in 2 parts. During the walk through, we weren't able to see the the master bed and bath, nor one of the other bedrooms due to them being unaccessible because of the plastic covering in between. They told us this story about the couple that ordered it changing their minds about getting it because the wife kept adding things on like appliances and furniture, and backed out at the time of closing. Since it was new according to them, we agreed, seeing it was the same one that we'd have to wait 4 to 5 weeks for.

I really believe that our home wasn't new, due to so many different things like holes in cabinet doors and blue stains in the carpet. a foot print on the wall up by the ceiling, and even light pixtures that don't work or have shortages. I found it convenient that this particular salesman was transferred to another city. They tend to the have attitude, that we've got you now so to heck with you!

They agreed to hook up ceptic system, which they hooked up to the wrong one. Our skirting on the outside has been coming off since a week after we moved in, they hooked us up to an unfinished ceptic tank, causing the toilets and sinks to back up into the floors. There's no heat or air conditioning in the master bed/bathrooms. They've been coming out to check it for about 7 months now. I'm almost positive that there's mold growing somewhere in this home seeing as my son's asthma has come back after 2 years.

It seems like when our first year was up they said to hell with us, we can take your land if you don't pay us. We were told our payments have increased because their wasn't enough paid into escro. I'm wondering when they'll feel like jacking that up again seeing as they pretty much treat their supposedly valued customers like crap after signing the arbitration.

I could go on forever with many issues we're experiencing with this home. They've made many promises to come out and make repairs, but I've long since stopped holding my breath, as well as taking time away from work to be here when they say they're coming. Is there any justice for us that are trying to provide better living arrangements for our families???
