It is unfortunate that you were not aware of the shipping/handling fees for activation of the vacations. This is certainly addressed in the literature and on the official Coastal websites. The calls you mentioned gives all this information. In fact on Thursday nights at 9:00 EST, the Level I Package and its contents are explained in detail. All taxes, handling, deposits and everything are discussed. All directors with Coastal Vacations are independent wholesalers, it is impossible to regulate their actions. If you go to a McDonalds and get poor service, it does not mean that McDonalds as a company and entity is bad. You just received bad service from that management. Coastal Vacations has a wonderful product with outstanding value. Coastal Vacation does not endorse or use the word "free." You are responsible for port charges, taxes, and sometimes processing fee. It depends on the vendor offering the vacation. Your package is still valuable even if you do not feel that is so. I'm sure there are many charities in your area that would love to have it so they could use the vacations for fundraising. These vacations can not be resold but they can be given away. If you are unhappy with your package give it to someone that will use it. Also there is no requirement for renewal of your cards. All the vacations and cruises remain valid until you use them. But again this is explained on the official website. If anyone reading this would like a list of the vacations and the fine print just email [email protected] or go to www.everlastingvacations.info. I would be happy to provide that prior to your decision to purchase a package. Coastal Vacations is a legitimate organization with a valuable product. It is unfortunate that you were dealing with a mis-informed director that did not give you adequate information. But that doesn't make the company wrong just that individual.
