Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
First the movers themselves (Anthony Davis and his crew) were excellent.  CVL however is a shady, BS, dishonest bait and switch company.

Teddy gives me quote of $3528, 5558 lbs. to rope you in.  3 days before move (when it is too late to fire them and get a honest company),  Alvin gives final review and adjustment which comes out to $5414.38, 6793 lbs. and want an additional $1100 deposit added to the already $1627 deposit I gave Teddy.

The weight actually comes in about 200lbs above original estimate of 5558 and I am told it is around .50 per lb for the overage equally $100.  I also paid extra for mirror and picture wrap of about 250.  So for the $2000 difference in the 2 estimates I was owed about $1600 , which I was assured would be refunded to me within 10 days.  After a month of phone calls the did refund about $700 and change.  Still short about $900.

Still waiting after contacting Teddy with the math has been quite a while no nothing from them. Move was Oct 21, 2011, it is now Feb 5, 2012.

Avoid these guys like the plague.  There are too many honest companies out there to be involved with guys like these.

I was contacted by CVL upper management at least 3 times after I wrote my complaint.  They went over my paperwork and have come to the conclusion that a mistake was made and apologized and promised that they are in the process of resolving this issue to my satisfaction.

I must say that they did seem genuinely concerned.  It is not often that a company will take the time to review a complaint and graciously correct the mistake.  For that I must assume that my assessment of them may have been hasty.

If they keep their word then I am satisfied and a happy guy.
