I don't want you guys to have to slog through my personal experience with ComCast.

Just know that 

  • you'll NEVER get through with a phone call to Tech Support...but you ABSOLUTELY will get through to Billing
  • Tech Support merely fields phone calls...directing even basic problems to what's called Signature Support which - loosely translated - means, for $14.95/month they'll give you what you're already paying for: working equipment and the Secret to the Lost Ark, apparently
  • the online chat might be your only chance of answering the simplest of problems, or the most certain way of driving yourself insane
  • you must TAKE A DAY OFF WORK (as I had to) and absolutely stay on top of your issue until its resolved: any complaints or requests to speak to someone who might be able to help during actual conversations (if you're that lucky) will be ignored. My problem has yet to be corrected but I'm fairly certain a monthly statement will find me easily. However, I have not received ANY of the services I've paid for.

I am seraching for another Internet provider while simultanesouly attempting to fix my problem on my own, if possible.

But in my experience, ComCast is EVIL. I found their employees uninformed, though plenty might be lovely individuals. And they certainly - most definitely - DID NOT CARE whether the problem was corrected or not.

ComCast is a clown show. On a good day. And to take my hard earned money and give nothing in return - NOT EVEN THE SERVICES I AGREED TO BUY - is criminal.
