When we first bought out home we bought several things from Conn's to put in our home. We bought 3 T.V.'s from Conn's, 1 quit working and they would not come and fix it and one we did not like the quality of the picture so we returned it and they charged us a 15% restock fee, because they claimed that they could not sell an open box item for full price. We were very shocked to hear that due to the fact that we have never had any problems returning items to walmart or any other store in the past and were never charged a restock fee. The next day we went back to Conn's and they had taped the box back up and put it back up for sale at full price. The reason I knew it was the same T.V. was because we bought the last one and the corner of the box had a ding in it. We also had a dryer from Conn's that we purchased and we purchased a warranty to cover the it. Within a couple of months we were having problems with the dryer, so we called them to come out and fix it. They came out a couple of times and never seemed to really fix it so we ended up replacing it 15 months after purchase because with 4 children I could not afford to have my dryer broken. We also bought a lawn mower from conn's when we first moved here which lasted us about 6 months and we had to replace it. We have never had any good experiences with Conn's and would not recommend them to anyone. It is worth it to me to spend a little bit more on a product from another company and know that they have the consumers best interests at heart. I will never shop there again and I hope that I save someone else the pain and agony this company causes.
