I went to my bank web-site today, and found that I was overdrawn. upon investigating this further, I noticed a charge in the amount of $79.95 from CIC*Credit Monitorin. I contacted my bank and they informed me that I would have to contact the company, which for *some* reason they had the number on-hand!
I contact CIC, and sure enough I've been a "member" since June 2003! I demanded that the membership be canceled and my money returned... supposedly the money will be there within 7-10 business days! Gee, that's great, except now I'm overdrawn, and I have $60.00 worth of NSF fees on my account!
