Continental Finance Made a payment the day it was due, but was told it was considered late. Newark Delaware
I made my credit card payment to Continental Finance on the afternoon of the day that it was due. However, they told me it was considered a late payment because it was after they're "CUT OFF TIME", which was considered 1:30PM, and I was charged the $35 late fee.
If a payment is made on the due date there is no way it should be considered late. This company will do everything they can to get a late payment fee from you.
Also, they claim to report monthly to the credit bureau's, but I only see my report updated every 3 or 4 months.
I have read other complaints on ripoffreport.com about Continental Finance and believe them to be true. They are a predatorial lender taking advantage of lower income Americans trying to build better credit.
Companies like this should be put out of business.
