Me and my girlfriend had been hard at work to find a Pug puppy to adopt or buy. After looking on the internet we came across this ad:
http://www.adsinusa.com/c/4479/4479m5209.htm
Stating that it was located in Duluth MN (which is where we live) It seemed too good to be true.
We contacted the seller "Britney Richardson" who emailed us back in about 24 hours... Here is the email she sent

I found it a little strange that she didn't state her name or any of her contact info. Also the poor grammar of her email. Something about it just seemed a little fishy. After saying that we'd go ahead and buy the pug from her, she stated that she knew of a airline delivery that would have the pug to me very soon. She said that it would be a rate of 300$ to pay the delivery service. I repeatedly asked her for a phone number in which I could contact her at but she said she would give us all the information we needed later on.
She then began texting me from a yahoo account named "janktom25" and stated she was on her way to the pet agency and that our pug would arrive later this afternoon. Mind you I received these texts at about 5:30 AM. She seemed very anxious about me making the payment. It was then that I finally received an email at about 6:30 from an obviously-fake email service "Pending Delivery and Payment Notification of your Pug Puppy to Client #0026*****" from email address "
[email protected]".
There was no way I was about to send this copy-pasted mess of an agency 300$ so I delved into more information. I texted her back asking if I could get her home address and phone number so I could call if I had any problems. Finally she responded with this phone number: 501-530-2439. Which I promptly attempted to call, and to my expectation, the number was a fake and no longer in service. I texted back replying that I knew it was a scam. I have not heard from either the email or the yahoo account since.
From reading the other reports in regards to this Continental Pet Services, it seems that they end up charging you for much more than the 300$... Up to over a thousand dollars in some cases and they will not "send the dog" if the charges aren't paid.
