Purchased 8 boxes of contacts all at the same time, on same receipt, for same person - as recommended by my optometrist to get the maximum CooperVision Rebate. I sent in 8 original box tops, original sales receipt showing eight purchased within valid date ranage, plus entry form. Received email back many weeks later saying that the rebate was denied because of insufficient box tops. I called in and was told that they had only scanned in two box tops, so the rebate was denied. I asked them to double-check the envelope because I had most definitely sent in eight original box tops, but they said that everything that comes in is shredded 'for my protection' so there was no way to check. I asked to speak to a supervisor to try and figure out how to 'prove' that I had eight original box tops, and was told that I needed to send in the box tops - because, apparently, they never make mistakes. After much discussion, where I even offered to send in the eight boxes, which I still have, but are of course, missing the tops, he provided a fax number where I sent in scans of the upcs on the side of the box and pictures of alll eight together. He said that this would still need to go through approval, so there is still a slim hope of being treated fairly. I am ever the optimist. I will update this report on that 'ruling'.
