Copyfax Of Central Florida ; Owner "Jim Attabery" They took $300 from me Aug 22/08 for a website. The owner Jim said sorry no refund no site. Orlando Florida
I Michael Mcferrin went to Copyfax of Central Fl, on Aug 22/08 to get a website built. I used to work for the owner Jim Attabery so I trusted his ethics. He told me and my buisness partner he would build us a 10 page website. He also spent the next 2 days telling us he could get our page in 5th possision from top company. He promised he would publish and host our website to get us in the #1 posission using key words. Jim said we could make changes, add pages, add pictures anytime we need for 1 year. I didnt expect any troubles from his promises so I paid him up front. $360 cash, he also talked us into buying 3 other domain names as well.
So he went to work. 1 week later I went to see the site and It was awful. It didnt represent anything we wanted for what our company does. So he asked me for more info to put together the site so I found all pics, words, and set up 6 pages for the site. When I took it to Jim and showed him he said OH I dont build 10 page sites.
This was the first red flag. I mentioned he said he would give us a 10 page site he yelled at me and said dont call me a lier. I said I will make a 5 page site for you. He made a huge deal about this and said Fine I will just give you your money back. I said no we want the site built I will find a way to make 6 pages 5. That was the first altercation.
I gave Jim a red folder I spent 3 days at the computer reseaching other companies to try and compete with them to get good info for our site. Why was I doing this, he said he would do all this for us. So I put it together anyways. I gave him the folder and he said no problem it will be done by end of Sept. Well we started asking where it was and he kept making excuses. Then we asked give us a date it will be done he said he couldnt do that. So we knew at this point something was wrong. I went into the office 2 weeks ago to talk to Jim the owner. I felt sinc I had worked for him before, gone to church with him and his wife, and sent biusness his way he would talk to me.
When I brought up the promises he made he got furious and started telling me I dont know how to run a buisness, that is not his falt im a bad planner, and that my mind is all twisted about things he promised. I was scared for he is a big man. He said he would send me a refund check for what money is left over after his time. So more time has gone by no check. So I called today he said there is no refund and I have no website eaither. He said he spent enough time on my website that he cant refund us any money. But I have no website!!! Please help...

Michael Mcferrin has fabricated this entire story, no part of it is true. Michael did telemarketing for COPYFAX of Central Florida for a short period of time. He was warned several times about making false claims and promises to potential customers. He was caught stealing and let go. I later found out he has serious mental issues and and is on daily medication. I decided not to prosecute because of his medical condition. He is now on a mission to slander me and my company. COPYFAX of Central Florida has been serving Central Florida since 1989 with a handfull of customers we were not able to satisfy and thousands of completely satisfied customers.
