Coral Sands / Hilton Head Island Development Co. Bait and switch Hilton Head Island South Carolina
During our stay in February 2015 at A Coral Resort we were invited to a meeting to discuss our membership and receive information/coupons for the Island. We already owned a Wyndhan Vacation Club and was very disappointment with the mid-information we had received from them. The Coral Sands sales representative was extremely nice and understanding of our frustration with Wyndham and indicated that they had talked with many members in our situation. Their solution was to buy into Coral Sands for $12,000 and that they would sell our Wyndham within six months to get us out of that contract. They explained how the RCI membership would be so much better for us. They convinced us that we should move forward and that they work take care of everything. None of that information was true. We are now about one year later with two vacation clubs and paying for both of them and was told by the representative in Vacation Services from The Coral Results that there was not an agreement to sell our Wyndham and that we should have read our agreement better. I realize it's our fault for trusting and believing them. We just want to warn others to be very careful when dealing with them!!
