Check out other REPUTABLE stores, and you'll find that they are more than happey to honor their catalog prices. I've done this at both Home Depot (saving over $10. per unit,11 units) and Kohls,in the last couple of weeks. (Funny you should mention shipping, because the items that I ordered from Home Depot included FREE shipping, and the difference was still in excess of $10.00 per unit!) Often, when shown the catalog and or internet price, the local store WILL match (oh, BTW, this includes Best Buy and Walmart AND JCPenney) the price that is lower. Take into consideration that most places price match the competitions prices, and hands down, Sears loses. Now that Sears owns Kmart, I won't even shop there anymore. It's just not worth my time. Next time you're out shopping for tools, Jack, check out Snap-On or another retailer. At least you'll get your money's worth!

Sears is not deceptive on their pricing. It is cheaper in the catalog then it is in the stores because you have to pay shipping for the catalog items they give you a break. I love to get people like you in my Sears store that act like a idiot and cause a scene at the registar. Go check out other catalogs and then go to their store it is the same as Sears because of the shipping. I guess that means all the stores are deceptive to you? HA
