I advertised on Craigslist.org, several ads (over $500, $25 each, some $75) which was not a problem at first.  The last few ads they removed because they said they do not accept Affiliate Marketing.  Then they abruptly closed my account without warning.  I requested a refund for some ads they did not post, after repeated requests they were obstinate at not wanting to do that despite my many attempts to threaten to report them to BBB and gave them Wednesday, August 15, at 4pm as a deadline for the reversal.  They did not respond.

I also requested a snapshot of my account which they closed so I can verify if they truly reversed some fees they promised to reverse to me, so I can compare it with my credit card statements.  They did not respond to this request either.  I was lied to by their billing department several times claiming they refunded my fees when they did not.  This company is unethical and arrogant!  They also pick and choose whom they want to allow to post ads.  There are other advertisers in there that are offering the same type of business.

Then I went to BBB to proceed in making a complaint against this company and discovered that they already have an "F" rating so it would not matter as they just don't care.  See this link: http://www.bbb.org/greater-san-francisco/business-reviews/internet-services/craigslistorg-in-san-francisco-ca-49921

What puzzles me is they are allowed to do business nationwide with this current Better Business Bureau rating.  Too much leniency has been allowed to these people this is why they don't care whom they are hurting.  As long as money's coming in... this all that matters!

What about us consumers?  Where is our protection when companies such as this are allowed to decide whether they return our hard earned money or not?  I am on medical leave and don't have enough funds right now so I decided to pursue this legit/ethical business to supplement my income.
