Credit One Bank Don't make an Express Payment Las Vegas, Nevada
When you make an Express Payment (which you pay extra for), a confirmation states the payment will post on your account the next day and the funds will be available the following day. That's a lie. Your money will take 5 business days before you can actually use it. I pay off my balance in full each month and made the mistake of paying it off so I'd have full use of the credit balance for a long awaited vacation.
I paid off my balance Wednesday, no money was taken from my bank account on Thursday so I called to find out why. They said the money would be transferred from my bank to the credit card before midnight. I wanted to re-verify that I'd have my money available on the card by Friday and was told no it would take 5 business days. This means I won't have access to my credit card until next Friday...my vacation will be over then. Never never never use Express Payment if you need your money immediately.
