Cristal's Mobile Carwash & Detailing - Steve and David Multiple No-Shows for Scheduled Appointments, Charged CC but Never Performed Service, Repeatedly Lied about Company, Rejects Attempts to Contact, Refuses to Return Calls or Perform Services Paid For Long Beach California
EMPLOYEES NEVER showed up on three separate scheduled appointments.
I purchased a Groupon for $59 for the full auto detailing package and tried getting a hold of an employee at Cristal's Mobile Carwash & Detailing to schedule an appointment for--literally--9 to 10 months. Nobody ever answered the phone in this time, replied to my emails, or responded to voicemails left. It seemed clear this was likely a scam, but as I wanted to get my money's worth, I continued to try contacting Cristal's Mobile Carwash & Detailing to see if anyone would eventually pick up.
Ten months later, someone finally did. He claimed his name was David and made no apology for the fact that it had taken so many months to finally speak to an actual employee at Cristal's. He simply set up an appointment with me for the following week. The day of the appointment came and he was a no-show. I continuously called the number listed for Cristal's Mobile Carwash & Detailing and after a week of doing so finally connected with another man. He claimed his name was Steve, though he sounded EXACTLY like the man who said his name was David. He seemed nice enough and said he was sorry nobody ever showed up to the appointment. He scheduled a new appointment with me for the following week.
The new appointment day came around and Steve was now a no-show. Several hours went by and I got a hold of him. I was hopeful this was not a scam since I was actually getting a hold of an employee at Cristal's. He said he was sick and asked to come the following day. I said that would be fine and we set up a third appointment. The following day he also no-showed for several hours and never answered my calls, returned my voicemails asking for a refund, and quickly began rejecting my number each time I would call him.
Because they would not drive to LA where I live, I have re-scheduled my work and life around staying at a residence near Long Beach on each of the no-show appointment days so the detailing team could make it to that location for the job, only to have them completely disregard and flake on each occasion detailed above. I have wasted a LOT of time and money on the amount of scheduling around this scam of a "company" and simply wanted what is rightfully mine as a paying customer for services not yet rendered.
AVOID CRISTAL'S Carwash & Detailing at ALL COSTS. This is not a company that actually performs services, aside from running and charging your credit card at will.
