CRV Builders Group - Chris Valerio Chris Valerio Took my money and did no work [SCAM] Jeannette, Pennsylvania
I hired Chris Valerio to repair my flat roof. He said he could do it and would be able to start in about a week. He then called me on July 1, 2011 [the Friday before the 4th of July holiday weekend] saying that he could do the repairs over the long weekend and needed a check for $1800 in order to purchase supplies. I provided him with a check and he cashed it the same day. As of today [10/26/2011] he has not stepped back onto the property to begin the repairs. I have called him over 30 times and left countless voicemails, but I have never received a response. He stole my money and is a con artist. I am not even sure he is a roofer. Stay away from this guy!!!!

I am a previous employee of CRV Builders/Chris Valerio. Every word out of this businesses mouth is a lie. I first hand witnessed him scamming MANY people, myself being one. He would get down payments for stuff and spend it on everything but materials for that job. He would then borrow money from family to get things done. He would con the next job out of money to finish the last job and once it all caught up to him, skip that job and scam that person, and onto the next victim. All while buying vehicles and nonsense items. I worked for him for a little over 2 years on and off all the while wanting to quit, but didn't want to quit cause he owed me $1000's in wages. In the end I am STILL owed over $2000 in wages and have won a civil law suit against Chris Valerio and CRV Builders. His company is a joke. I have since started my own business and doing very well and can not see how anyone can fall behind on money for materials, labor, etc. If you use the money for what it is intended and not for going to casinos and partying then you won't have a problem having a successful bussiness. I have on several occassions had to lend money to Chris Valerio for materials to finish a job so that he could get the remaining balance owed and I could get paid and on several occassions STILL didn't get paid. I just ran into a police officer from Jeannette who said his basement is STILL not finished after like a year. Chris abandoned the job and pocketed the money from that as well. One day things will catch up to him. I even had to lend him money to take care of fines he had for ILLEGAL equipment he had using for his job sites. If he didn't get the fines taken care of he was going to be arrested the next day and would have lost the jail job he had lined up. Should have let it happen!! Have lent him my sons money we had set aside for his Birthdday party and he promised to pay back the next day. DIDN'T happen. He is a heartless liar and scam artist and it's only a matter of time until he can't get out of his holes he has dug himself.

I personally own Crv builders group we have been around for a very long time and have done a large amount of work with few to no complaints .. we took on this job for a friend and was to do it on the weekend for them .. after purchasing materials and setting up a weekend to do it the weather changed and it was hard to get it rescheduled ... We gave sence completed this job and more from the same customer .. so if we were such a rip off why would we get more work from them and an office in their building .. now that the record is straight on this job we can't get the listing removed unless we pay 2000.00 to some arbatrater .. now who's the rip off !!!
