I bought a dog from Darren Utt of UsVetBulldogs.com on June 3! He claims he was an english bulldog! We got him home and immediately noticed he has loose stools! We took him to the vet and they thought he had worms that weren't shedding, so they treated him. Loose stools continued and later that week he had a cough. Back to the vet! They treated him, gave him something for his cough and something for his stools that were still loose and sent us home! A week later he started throwing up and now his stools were worse! Straight water! He wasn't eating or drinking! We took him to the emergency hospital where they diagnosed him with Parvo! He stayed at the vet for a week! Now we've only had this pup for 2 weeks! Breeder said to put him down and he would replace the puppy! He caught Parvo elsewhere because he never had a problem! Chubb got better and we brought him him! He was doing great! Eating like a champ, playing and acting like a perfect puppy! Stools were still a bit loose but we got that straightened up! A week and a half-two weeks ago he went to the vet for his check up/shots! I told the dr he was very lazy cause he slept all the time! A day or so after his vet visit he started stumbling and walking into walls! He started sleeping literally 22 hours a day! He would eat like a champ and potty fine! His stumbling and walking into walls and his left sided hear tilt were concerning, so we took him to the vet Tuesday thinking he had an ear infection! Dr called and said someone neurologically was going on and she needed to do a $300 blood tests and send him to the neurologist for an MRI! At this point I was already out $2-3k on a dog who has been sick more than healthy the whole time we've had him! We decided we just couldn't get him the treatment he needed, so we contacted someone who ran a bulldog rescue and she found someone who would take him and get him treatment! We met her yesterday morning and she drove him straight to her vet! They decided to run a blood test and keep him for a couple days! They fed him and he gobbled up His food and water like he always did! Vet said his teeth were a bit yellow so he could be gaundice! The blood test came back that he had some kind of infection! They gave home some meds and we're going to look into what else could be wrong! She called me this morning to let me know Chubb passed away in his sleep! He didn't suffer, but he was obviously very sick. The breeder is a horrible breeder who only cares about selling dogs! Preys on veterans and rips them off! Says he's mad I say that because His dad was a veteran also! Never offered to help with the vet bill or offer to refund money. He will only replace the dog! He doesn't even know who the parents of Chubb are..... Puppy mill!
